This 1950s French Venetian style mirror features scalloped glass panels with etched floral decoration and applied glass rosettes throughout. The layered mirrored construction and softly curved silhouette give the piece a distinctly romantic European character.
Moderate foxing, silver loss, and age-related deterioration across portions of the mirrored panels — particularly along the lower sections — contribute to the mirror’s deeply timeworn appearance. Rather than reading pristine or formal, the piece carries the softened patina and imperfect beauty often associated with older Venetian mirrors.
The etched detailing and remaining reflective surfaces continue to catch light beautifully, making the mirror especially compelling styled within layered, collected interiors where age and character are embraced.

Fair vintage condition consistent with age and use. Mirror exhibits substantial age-related silver loss, foxing, desilvering, surface wear, and deterioration, particularly along the lower panels and edges. Subtle movement is present within the frame consistent with age and construction. Applied floral rosettes remain intact.
