Details

These 20th-century Belgian marmalade jars were originally produced for storing marmalade or pâté and feature a lovely blue manufacturer’s mark—“Mirland & Co.” Each jar is crafted from porcelain with a fluted base and decorative upper ridge, dating to the 1930s, and sourced directly from the original factory at the time of its closure. Their petite scale and simple form make them perfect for styling on open shelves, corralling utensils, or holding florals.

Each piece is unique, with subtle variations in stamp placement, glazing, and tone—testament to its handmade nature and decades of use. Each bears an original manufacturer’s stamp on the underside. Sold individually.

Origin

Belgium, 1930s

Condition

Good vintage condition with wear and color variation present, consistent with age and use. No cracks or repairs observed. Each jar varies slightly in tone and glaze finish.
