Details

This early 20th-century English occasional table is composed of elm and oak and rests on a simple tripod base. The top is defined by an undulating, wavy shape—visually dynamic but well-balanced in scale—offering subtle movement from every angle.

With tops of elm and bases made of oak, the wood surfaces show tonal variation and timeworn warmth, with visible grain and signs of age that enhance its sculptural presence. Though compact in footprint, the piece carries a strong point of view—easily styled beside a sofa, in a corner, or as an accent in layered, collected interiors.

Sold individually. We have two available, each nearly identical in form and character.

Origin

England, early 20th century

Condition

Both tables are structurally sound with solid joints. Surfaces show minor wear, edge abrasions, and age-appropriate patina, including small chips to the feet and visible marks from past use—consistent with antique character.
