These French bobbin bookcases are crafted from oak, featuring finely turned uprights and chamfered-edge shelves. Though not an exact pair, they are nearly identical in scale, form, and overall character, with subtle differences in tone, foot and finial shape, and timeworn wear. One is lighter with a more even finish; the other is darker, showing slightly more visible use and gentle twisting from age.
Each piece offers sculptural presence and historical charm, yet remains compact enough to tuck into bedrooms or hallways.

Condition
Both pieces show age-related surface wear. The darker bookcase has slightly more visible patina and exhibits subtle twisting when light pressure is applied. Best suited for lighter decorative display. We recommend anchoring to the wall with anti-tip hardware, especially in homes with children.
