Details

Crafted from solid pine circa 1920, this sculptural pair of hat moulds was once used in the traditional hat-making process. Each form is composed of two pieces—a rounded dome with a wide peg that fits nicely into its coordinating base. The wood is smooth and richly patinated, bearing the warm character of age. Whether styled on a console or used as a unique hat holder in a wardrobe or closet, they bring quiet charm and heritage to any space.

Origin

Europe, circa 1920

Condition

Very good vintage condition with surface markings, wear, and patina consistent with age and use. Minor imperfections to the wood only add to their handmade character.
