Details
Designed by Pierre Forsell in the 1970s, this pair of Swedish brass wall sconces brings clean lines and quiet drama to any space. Each sconce is composed of two parts: a flat, wall-mounted candleholder and a separate, suspended brass pendulum that hooks into place below—a hallmark of Forsell’s sculptural minimalism. The brass surface has been left unpolished, showcasing natural patina that reflects the age and character of the pieces. Both sconces are stamped with Forsell’s signature and the Skultuna foundry mark. These sconces are best suited as decorative accents, whether mounted symmetrically or staggered for more relaxed styling. They are sold without candlesticks and are not electrified.
Origin
Sweden, 1970s
Condition
Good vintage condition with surface wear and patina consistent with age. Unpolished brass finish. Structurally sound. Each sconce includes a suspended brass pendulum element that attaches below the candleholder. Both are stamped with Forsell’s signature and the Skultuna mark.
