A pair of vintage landscape paintings depicting village scenes in shades of green, ochre, and earthy brown. Loose, textured brushwork gives the compositions depth and an atmospheric quality.

Both paintings are signed “F. Franzoi” at the lower edge, with the surname Franzoi also handwritten on the wooden backs. Each is housed in a gold-finished wooden frame with a linen fabric surround and glass. Sourced in Venice, Italy. Sold as a pair.

Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age. The paintings exhibit minor surface irregularities and age-related wear. The gold-finished wooden frames show scattered scratches, abrasions, marks, and areas of finish loss. The linen fabric surrounds show discoloration, spotting, and age-related staining and have been intentionally left in place. The glass shows minor surface wear, and the wooden backs show age-related wear and markings.
