Richard Phethean is a British studio potter known for expressive thrown and altered ceramic forms with layered surface decoration. After studying at Camberwell College of Arts and Crafts, he established his studio practice in Cornwall, where his work explores contour, structure, and abstract decoration through highly individual handmade forms.
