Details
An elegant vintage desk set combining warm brass with black and clear glass. The rectangular brass gallery tray features pierced sides, decorative paw feet, and a removable black glass insert.
Arranged within the tray are a faceted clear glass inkwell with a black octagonal lid and brass-toned fittings, a tapered brass pen holder, and a hinged brass and black stationery holder. The set also includes vintage paper bearing an ornate, intertwined C and E monogram.
A distinctive collection of writing accessories with Art Deco influences, equally suited to a desk or decorative display. Sourced in Milan, Italy.

Condition
Vintage condition consistent with age. The brass components show scattered scratches, tarnish, patina, and a couple of small dents. The removable black glass insert has surface scratches and minor wear.
The inkwell shows wear to its metal fittings and interior, including what appears to be old ink residue and staining. A couple of small chips are present along the black glass lid. The stationery holder shows surface wear, while the included vintage paper has age-related discoloration and wear.
